Dining Bench

A custom dining bench Ponchatoula clients order from Cliff Craft is built to seat real people at a real table — solid old-growth hardwood throughout, with a base engineered for stability under shifting load and a top finished to hold up to daily use without losing its surface.

Engineered Where Benches Fail

Most benches fail at the base connection — the point where the leg meets the seat rail is under constant stress. Cliff engineers that connection the same way he engineers a chair: mortise-and-tenon joinery, tight grain hardwood, fitted by hand. No veneers. No catalog dimensions. Solid wood throughout.

Sized to Your Table and Space

Every custom dining bench Ponchatoula families add to their table is sized to match — length, height, and finish all determined by the room it will occupy. Built to the same standard as the table it sits beside. Learn more about Louisiana woodworking traditions through the St. Tammany Woodworkers Guild.
