Display Shelf

A custom display shelf Ponchatoula homeowners order from Cliff Craft is built to carry weight without bowing and hold its position on the wall without settling — reclaimed old-growth hardwood, engineered shelf span, and a wall-mounting system that treats the structure as part of the design.

Span and Load Calculated Before a Board Is Cut

Shelf span and load capacity are calculated before a single board is cut. The stock is milled from reclaimed cypress, heart pine, or black walnut — wood with the density and stiffness that modern lumber cannot replicate. The finish is applied by hand to reveal the grain. No veneers. Solid wood throughout.

Sized to Your Wall and Load

Every custom display shelf Ponchatoula clients commission is sized to the wall and what it needs to hold — length, depth, mounting height, and finish all determined by the space. Built to carry what you put on it for decades without deflection. Learn more through the St. Tammany Woodworkers Guild.
