Hutch

A custom hutch Ponchatoula homeowners commission from Cliff Craft is built to store and display in equal measure — reclaimed old-growth hardwood case and cabinet below, open or glass-fronted shelving above, and doors that hang true and stay that way.

Old-Growth Lumber With Proven Density

The case is built from reclaimed cypress or heart pine — old-growth lumber with the density and stability that modern lumber cannot replicate. Door frames are mortise-and-tenon. Drawer boxes are fitted by hand. Shelving is engineered for the load it will carry, not just the look it will have on delivery day. No veneers. Solid wood throughout.

Proportioned to Your Dining Room Wall

Every custom hutch Ponchatoula clients order is sized to the wall — upper and lower proportions, shelf spacing, and finish all determined by the space it will occupy. No shortcuts. Learn more about Louisiana woodworking traditions through the St. Tammany Woodworkers Guild.
